One honest heart that I can believe in.... Two lovin' arms that will never let me go. ...It shouldn't be so hard, Finding one honest heart. Korina scribbled sliently in her worn notebook. She sang the lyrics softly to herself. The love song caused her to look up wistfully. What was it like, to be in love? Sure, Korina had known past relationships, but never had she experienced the pure, vibrant emotion of raw, true love. With a sigh, she stood slowly. She then took a deep breath as the look of hungry determination returned to her eyes. Just like the woman in the song, she wouldn't get discouraged. Gazing around, her eyes settled on a figure. Shyly she approached. "Hello....I'm Korina..." She hugged her notebook to her chest, inwardly groaning. She was acting like a naive schoolgirl. Had the past three years on the road not taught her anything? She could give her fans a smile that made them feel as if she was smiling at them alone, could talk clearly to a press room full of reporters, and could stride confidently onto a stage to perform for an audience of ten thousand. Yet here she was, blushing shyly as she spoke to a lone stranger. Bringing her chin up a notch she smiled. "I'm Korina Sinclair. And you are?" ** I don't own the above lyrics. They are from a Reba McEntire song written by D. Malloy and F. J. Myers. I'm working on writing Korina's songs, but they aren't ready yet.

Persyphine sat down gypsy-style in nearby shade, her hood shielding her face in shadow, her cloak dark and concealing even her hands.
Silly humans, she thought wryly.

Xenech looked up at the woman who addressed him and smiled politely. He then adjusted his glasses to see her more clearly and placed the book down. It was quite a miracle that he was listening. "Nice to meet you Ms. Sinclair. ^^ My name's Xenech. Xenech Klastorvic. ^^"

Korina released the breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. Slowly she lowered herself onto the bench by Xenech. "Pleasure's mine." She glanced at the book he set by his side. "What's this?" She referred to the book, but her jade eyes never left his face.
(ooc- DJ, I thought you preferred yaoi pairings. ^__^)

Ah...a choice read, to be sure." Korina gave him a charming smile, from which nothing could be discerned. "You're a bit of a scholar, I see?"

(ooc- *blinks* Umm.....I forgot where I was going with this. ^^;;; Give me a second.... *wanders off to read Xenech's registrary biography for some insight* Okay, here we go....*ahem* ) (ic-) Korina didn't respond. When Xenech looked away, she took the moment to study him a little further. From a distance he seemed bookwormish and a little unsettled. But from here, Korina could see a clear intellectuallism in his golden eyes. He seemed less tense from this angle, and instead....acutely aware. It didn't pass Korina's attention that he took notice of everything. Korina's gaze slid from him, meandering obscurely as her mind wandered as well. Once again, her lips parted and whispers of melodies alighted in the air. She felt her own tension melt away. A smile touched her mouth as she hummed through an instrumental. Her green eyes softened considerably, and she blandly wondered if the man beside her cared for music. He certainly seemed to enjoy another type of fine arts, she thought wryly, catching a glimpse of those golden eyes sliding longingly to the book at his side. (ooc- Sorry my posts are always so long. I write like a romance novelist. -_-;;;;
