The beast landed on all fours, crouched down in a pouncing position. It barred its fangs and simply growled in return at Rein.
Sachee took a few steps away from them, figuring it'd be wise if she did so.

Rein only snarled at the beast, lunging at it, claws first, mouth open to bite it.
Like hell he was losing to this.. thing!

It collided with Rein, claws flying and jaws snapping.
Growls and snarls were rumbling from within its throat.
It didn't seem like it wanted to lose either.

Rein's fur was sleek, and he easily navigated until he was in a comfortable zone. He let out a loud roar, and headed in for an attack, intent on biting into the beast's neck.

Rein met his goal and the beast cried out in pain and anger. Its claw came crashing into the side of Rein's scull -- this beast intent on mulling Rein's skin and fur as much as possible.
Sachee watched with wide eyes, transfixed in horror-fascination as they fought.

Rein held on, taking the full blow of the beast's attack, biting harder, his claws coming down at it.
But he didn't let go of it.

Sachee clutched and unclutched the hilts of her daggers, wanting nothing more than to throw them at the beast just so she could end the fight. But it was hard to pinpoint an exact target considering the amount of moving those two were doing.
And she didn't know if she could move anyway. The scene was just too... frightening, but... she couldn't take her eyes off of it.
The beast rammed itself harshly against Rein's side, constantly hacking at him with its claws. It ignored the pain in its neck as it persistantly attacked its enemy. But it was becoming evident that it was growing weak considering the amount of blood constantly splattering on the ground, and the diminishing speed.

Rein, too, was starting to grow weaker.. and he could feel it, too.
He kept on taking the attacks, blow after blow. His side was starting to bleed - but he tried to lessen the impact by moving, tugging at it's neck each time he moved.
Rein continued to claw at the beast, his growl never ceasing.

Sachee paced around nervously.
She was growing anxious.
How much longer could Rein do this?
The beast simply dug its claws into Rein's shoulders, now clinging to him in an attempt to drive him down.

Rein let out a feral growl, biting into the beast more deeply due to the pain. It was all getting numb, though.
Keh.. this might scar... Rein thought, unconsciously in his mind.
Electricity started to flow from his mighty claws, Rein gathering some of his strength as he lashed down on the beast again.

It seemed to finally be weakening, for its hind legs started to buckle beneath it. It tried to keep a hold of Rein, but the combination of the slash and electricity sent it finally stumbling and falling back. The beast's legs trembled beneath its weight as it struggled to get back up, but its strength was going... going... diminishing away to nothing.
And then it collapsed back on to the ground: unmoving, not breathing, not even twitching.
Sachee held her breath the whole time. She watched as the beast finally died, before looking at Rein to see how he was doing.

As soon as Rein knew it was dead - he let go, transforming back to his humanoid form, lying on the floor, panting.
The side of his face was cut, his side was bruised, battered, and bleeding. But most of all, Rein felt like crap.
He let out a heck lot of air. "Well, that was fun..."

She ran over to Rein and crouched beside him, worry etched all over her face.
"You alright?" Sachee asked.
...But she didn't really need to ask him. He didn't look alright.

Rein laughed a bit, but was panting too much.
"I'm fine," He said, although he remained on the floor.
In truth, he was hurt, his side was killing him, and lord only knew how tired he was.

Maya had heard weird animal-type noises around, in the forest. Scared to death, she had taken a wooden stick to protect herself if she was to encounter any. That's when she passed through bush, meeting an half dead guy on the ground with a worried girl to his side.
She decided to sit, take out some pop corn, and enjoy the kawaii romantic scene that was about to come. ;D
