She watched as a group of bandits passed through the Mitsurei forest, some carrying chests full of who knows what between them. But she was more than positive they were carrying gold and money and jewelry. Just by looking at them she knew they were bandits. She had her share of robbing from the robbers.
Sachee grinned devilishly and watched from her perch on the tree, carefully sliding to another one to keep up with their journey through the forest. They didn't stop until a while later, and when they did they made camp and lit a fire at the center. Sachee siddled down from the tree and hid behind the trunk, watching as they busied themselves with food and wine. They were talking loudly and slurred. One of the bandits opened a chest and Sachee's suspicions were confirmed.
There was gold and jewelry.
And Sachee crept around the edge of the clearing, staying in the shadows and out of sight as they talked loudly and made rude jokes about the families they had robbed on the way, some going into detail about what they did to some of the women. Sachee made a face but ignored it, knowing there was nothing she could do. She crept up behind one of the treasure chests and peered in. Her face seemed to glow at all the treasure.
She started to stuff her pockets with the gold when she felt something press against her chin.
"And whatcha think yur doin', little girl?"
Sachee laughed nervously at the burly man towering over her with a sword pressed threateningly against her neck.
"Er...I was lost?"
"Hn." The bandit grinned wickedly as he gestured over some of the guys.
They tied her up and plopped her down on the ground.
Sachee huffed. "I DEMAND TO BE UNTIED AT ONCE."
They ignored her and ate and sang rather out-of-tune and none too nicely.
She growled.
