Persyphine could care less about Mitsurei. But she had never fought a vampire. Nor a woman who had been calculating enough to plan for such a future. As an ex-goddess, she found all these ex-mortals incredibly fascinating. She sat perched above the waterfall, looking down placidly at Cleopatra's hideaway.

Cervantes cracked open one eye.
He could feel another's presence somewhere amongst here, one of the presences he felt earlier ago last night, when... ahem.
He sat up and walked towards the ledge of the bath, keeping his gaze straight, never once bothering to look around. But then he lifted his gaze up and to where Persyphine was perched at.
"What do you want?" Cervantes asked bluntly.

"Observing."
Persyphine's voice echoed down the falls, a smirk forming on her face in the shadows of her hooded cloak.

He quirked an eyebrow.
"Hmm..." Cervantes shrugged and simply studied Persyphine, not knowing what to think of her and how to judge her.

"Quiet little one aren't you?" said Persyphine, glancing up at the sun for a moment, watching clouds pass over, shading her. She pulled back her hood and breathed deeply. She had slightly blue skin, long elfin ears pierced with silver rings, and silver hair. When she opened her eyes again, they glowed a metallic silver sheen. "I'm Persyphine."

Cervantes stared at Persyphine calmly, before nodding in acknowledgement.
He looked away, and instead at the waterfall, grunting out one word/name:
"Cervantes."

"I've heard of you. You wasted away in that cell for quite some time. Have you regained your previous strength?" she asked curiously, raising one almost talon-like finger to her chin.

He frowned thoughtfully, staring at his own hand and claws.
"Mmm... No," Cervantes replied, musing to self. "I will be soon. I haven't had my morning snack."
He stalked across the room and pried open the doors, whistling for one of the guards to come over. One did, and Cervantes muttered something to him about an intruder, and the guard instantly rushed in, becoming alert when seeing Persyphine.
Cervantes closed the door, and before the guard could do anything, he pulled the guard to him and sunk his teeth into his neck, drinking the life out of him.
Once he was done, he dropped the dead body to the ground.
For now, this would have to do.
He missed weeks of feeding.
He needed to catch up on that.

"How cute." Persyphine commented. "I'll be direct. I'd like to challenge you to a battle. When is up to you."

Cervantes looked at her with a quirked eyebrow, interest in his eyes.
"Fine by me." He glanced at the sleeping Cleopatra before making a gesture with her hand. "The fighting can be arranged for tonight."

Persyphine smiled. "I look forward to it. Only if you are at full strength though. By the way, I did not observe you in your little...passionate romp with her. It was someone else."

Cervantes nodded, and shrugged.
"It doesn't matter to me whether you saw or not," he replied simply. "I could care less."

"Blunt words." Persyphine said placidly, pulling back her hood to hide her face as the clouds moved on and the sun came back.

"Well I'm a blunt person," Cervantes said with that same bluntness.

"Hope your skills aren't as equally blunt," Persyphine said back, with an expressionless smile on her face.
