Curious, honey brown eyes peered around Mitsurei's Forest, having just arrived there and therefore being a new visitor to said forest.
What appeared to be a young man was walking through the forest, a single-strapped bag strung around 'his' torso. He was wearing a hat, but unruly strands of dirty blonde hair stuck out, bangs framing the sides of 'his' face. A hunting knife was in 'his' hand, because who knows what sorts of danger lurked about this forest?
'He' had covered quite a distance when... snap.
The next thing 'he' knew was that 'he' was dangling upside down, having fallen for one of the most mediocre traps known to man kind. Someone had set up a rope so whoever stepped into it would get their foot tied up and end up hanging upside down from a tree.
So... that's the position Rudi was in at the moment. A rope was wrapped around one of 'his' ankles, attached to a branch, and 'he' was now dangling upside down, 'his' hat having fallen off and on the ground.
And so... Rudi scowled and crossed 'his' arms.
'He' would just use his hunting knife to cut 'himself' free, but 'he' had dropped that, too...
'He' muttered something along the lines of swear words before 'he' tried desperately to reach for his hunting knife.
It was times like these that 'he' wished he was telekinetic or something...

Don Juan woke up abruptivly when he heard an alarming sound; one of his trap was on. He quickly rose and took his sword before heading towards the place the noise has come from.
"That should teach you a les--"
He paused when he started to observe the person he did capture.
"Hey, what are you doing up here? You're not one of those bandits i encountered in the city!"

Rudi looked at Don Juan, her arms crossed.
She huffed.
"Of course I'm not a bandit. I'm just some innocent traveller that got caught in this trap... which I'm assuming is yours? So can you kindly get me down from here?"

Don Juan winced. "I will--", he cut down the rope in one movement with his sword, "but it'll hurt..."

She blinked as she experienced a momentary hovering in mid-air before...
Thud.
"Ooowww...." Rudi muttered as she rubbed her now aching rear end. She sent Don Juan a look and a pout as she winced. "Couldn't you have done that a bit more... gently?"

Don juan chuckled at his stare. "I'm sorry, but it was the only way..."
He went to him and bent down in order to hand out his hand towards him. "I'm Don Juan De Marquez"

Rudi took Don Juan's offered hand as she let the other guy help her up.
Rudi dusted his pants, for dirt and leaves and twigs were clinging to them. She then looked to Don Juan and smiled toothily. "M'name's Rudi!"

Don Juan smiled back.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Rudi. Since you're innocent traveler, just what are you doing in this forest?" he asked, intrigued.

"Oohh you know, just passing through!" Rudi nodded as she looked around before crouching down to pick up her hunting knife and hat. She sheathed her knife and dusted her hat before setting it back on her head.
"...but do you know what forest this is, by any chance? Is there a city nearby?"

Don Juan laughed at this.
"I'm the eternal lost man in here, lad. You're honestly not asking the right person here. However i know that there's the Mitsurei City nearby, but i don't exactly know how to get there."
He observed his knife for a bit before asking; "Where do you come from?"

Rudi looked relieved to hear there was a city nearby, but when Don Juan questioned him about where she came from, she merely shrugged.
"Eh.. a bit aways away from here. But I dont' really come from anywhere. I just travel around. No particular home or anything."

He smiled at Rudi, understanding.
"Well, since I don't have much to do anyways what about we travel together? I need to catch those thugs, and they must be close to the city. Waht do you think?" he asked.

Rudi looked thoughtful, debating whether she should travel with this man she only just met and risk having him learn that she really is indeed a female... but she needed help in finding her way out of this maze-like forest, soo...
She nodded and smiled.
"Sure! Sounds like a good idea!"

Don Juan grinned at him.
"Have you eaten anything yet?" he asked, taking out an apple from his belongings.

"Aa..." She opened her mouth to answer when her stomach answered for her: it grumbled.
Rudi blushed, embarrassed.
"No, I haven't."
