He chuckled and threw the apple at him.
"Good thing i'm there, then." He took a very ancient looking map out of his coat inside pocket.
"This isn't too accuarate, but it should give us a good idea about where should our next be."
He marked on the map the place he estimated they were at the moment and identified they're 2 only paths.
"Well we have a choice betweena way through a close swamp or throguh a little further away waterfalls descend."

Rudi all too gratefully munched into her apple.
She peered over Don Juan's shoulder and made a face at the mention of the swamp. "I say we go for the waterfall..."
Maybe I can bathe myself while we're at it. Haven't had a proper bath in who knows how long...

He chuckled at the man's weird manors and nodded at his decision. They were better off with the waterfall way, they had less chances to be ambushed.
"We'll head there tomorrow morning, but before then we should find a campsite for the night. The sun is about to set," he glimpsed at the horizon, " And it's quite close at night at this time of the year."

"Aa... right." Rudi scratched the back of her head as she glanced up at the sky. She had lost track of time when she was traveling into the forest and hanging upside down from a tree.
And now that she thought about it... she was rather tired.
She stifled a yawn. "Let's find a place to set camp then."

Don juan folded back his map into his pocket and thought about it for a moment. He did remembered some caves near the southside of the forest: the lace they currently were at.
"I do remember a place nearby where we could sleep safely." he said, looking around briefly before he chose a path.
"It's not far, i promise." he added, noting his fatigue.

"Ok, good." Rudi sighed with relief before he gestured at Don Juan.
"Lead the way!"

After a couple of hours, Don Juan let out a sigh. They finally made it. The caves seemed to be in the exact same state as he left them; filled with traps.
"Be careful out here, I've put some extras"
Don Juan went in the cave, prudently.

"Aa, right," Rudi nodded as she side stepped any traps, this time making sure not to step into any like she did earlier.
She set her bag and hunting knife down by the cave wall before slumping against it and sliding down, sighing.
"It is safe to sleep here, right?"

Don Juan smiled at him proudly.
"I made sure of that last time, but you never know. Don't let your gards down."he replied, while forming a small teepee of bracnhes.
He then light up a match and carefully deposed it inside of it; good thing he bought some usefull stuff in the city. He sat to his mate's side, sighing. This sure have been a long day. He then reached through his bag and took out what he was searching for: a good ambiance lifter. He took off the top of the Wine bottle and handed out a glass to Rudi.
"It's fine wine, a Carchelo directly from Spain! Well, from Matsurei city and then from Spain. Try it, it should warm you up a bit"

"I don't know..." Rudi looked at the wine bottle hesitantly.
She was a really light drinker... meaning she could get knocked up very easily. Nyaha. But she took the glass as Don Juan poured her some. She looked at the rich liquid, took in a deep breath, and took a sip.
...It wasn't actually that bad at all!
She smacked her lips. "Mm... not bad..."

Don juan chuckled at his reaction. "Glad to have a buddy who got some taste!" He pourred himself a glass and handed back the bottle to Rudi.
"You never told me, why do you need to go to Mitsurei city?" He looked at him, after finishing his glass.

"No particular reason," Rudi said as she poured herself another glass, loosening up to the wine. She took a sip and smacked her lips.
"Just needa restock my provisions. Can't keep traveling if I do not have enough food and stuff. It would be bad if I suddenly starved."
She took a long swig of her wine.
"What about you? What'cha trying to catch bandits for?"

Don Juan poured himself another glass of wine and gulped it all down slowly.
"They stole somethin' from me, and i'm gonna stole it back..."
He poured himself another glass before handing out the bottle.

Unable to help herself, she poured herself another glass, this time re-filling it to the rim.
She drank half of it before she giggled and hiccuped, red tinting her cheeks. She squeaked at the hiccup and giggled again with a, "Oh my."
She handed him the bottle and asked, her voice a slur, "What'd they steal?"

Don Juan starred at him. Somehow there was something odd in the way he had giggled. He shook his head in disbelief before taking back the bottle. He swung it as he drank directly from it. Don Juan then put the bottle down with a "thump" as he grimaced from the burning sensation he now had in his throat.
" Somethin' special..." with that he leaned in toward Rudi. "A treasure map..." he whispered to him with glinting eyes.
