The old, rundown church was located in the darkest parts of Mitsurei Forest, where the trees were stacked up close, and the air and silence were muffled. Branches intertwined with the branches of other trees, weaving a pattern and blocking most of the light from the outside world to enter in. A tree was tilted and leaned against the roof of the church, having once upon a time fallen down and left a hole in it. Life seemed to bloom and blossom for momentary relief as birds fluttered from the tree, and out into open life.
And then all was still again, but not as still as it used to be. Another life disturbed the murky and dark silence, yet he didn't seem to stick out much from it. On the contrary, he looked just as dark as the forest, but a calm look was plastered on this young man's pale features -- music blaring from the headphones around his ears.
He halted curiously at the steps of the church, one foot resting on a higher level of the steps, the other supporting most of his weight. His hands were stuffed in his pockets.
And he just continued staring, as if the church would tell him a story - a story of how it came to be, and how it came to end.

Suki walked around, hands in her coat pocket, looking at everything around her.
It was eerily quiet; even for this realm. The semi-goddess was not used to such... 'tranquility'.
Spotting an old church, Suki walked towards it; afterall, it should feel like home, in a church, when she spotted someone.
"Who're you?"

He didn't seem to hear her, considering he had his headphones on, and the music was on at full blast. He simply continued standing there, head tilted slightly, gaze intent on the church in front of him.

A stress mark appeared on Suki's head, and, grabbing a random stick, poked it at his head as she walked up behind him - fairly hard.
"T_T! Don't ignore me!"

BJ walked uncertainly towards the old church.
"I coulda sworn I heard bells tolling just a while ago...."

"I've seen rainbows reaching skyward pass between the clouds then fade from view, I thought I knew what beautiful was but now-------"
Kurayami stopped singing upon seeing an old run down church. Its antiquity somehow made him feel a sense of solace.

Noticing Kurayami to his right, BJ asked, "Did you hear some church bells just now, or is it just me?"

Kurayami nodded, looking at the church curiously. "If I hadn't, I'd still be singing."

What the --" Seiichi muttered, placing a hand over where he was poked before whipping around and glaring at Suki. He rubbed his head, thus removing his headphones. "What was that for?! ¬.¬"

"Well I'm SOR-RY!" Seiichi retorted, not bothering to be polite. "Forgive me for listening to my MP3 player!" he said in mock apology. "You didn't have to poke me THAT hard though! Talk about RUDE. > "

"I was not the RUDE one! You're not supposed to IGNORE someone because you turned your MP3 Player up so loud! Watch you go deaf someday - you'd have deserved it!" Suki huffed.
